🌿 In His Presence There Is Deliverance

It is a great day to be in God’s presence. He has brought us into a greener pasture — and the presence of God is the main thing we need to focus on. 🙌

In His presence…You find…
🕊️ DeliveranceFreedom from what binds you
💡 SolutionAnswers to your questions
✨ MiraclesPower that transforms situations

We go straight to the word of God — because in His presence, everything you need is already available.

📚 Last Week: Four Benefits of Hearing the Word

Can you remember what we heard last week? There were four things — the benefits you receive when you hear the word of God:

#BenefitWhat it means
1️⃣Victorious livingYou overcome — not overcome by circumstances
2️⃣Called nobleLike the Bereans who searched Scripture eagerly
3️⃣Blessings come quicklyMultiplication, not slow addition
4️⃣HealingWholeness in body, soul, and spirit

⚠️ Why come regularly — every single day? The Israelites could not enter the promised land because they heard the word of God once — but they did not keep hearing it again and again. We can listen one week, forget for two or three months, then return — but that pattern keeps us from the fullness God intends.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ — not hearing once, but hearing again and again and again. It could be the same verse, but each time it speaks at a different level. 📖

⚡ Grace and Peace Multiplied — Choose Your Speed

Grace and peace can be multiplied. How?

ModeSpeedPicture
AdditionSlowBlessings drip in one at a time
MultiplicationFastBlessings accelerate quickly

How many want blessings quickly? The Bible gives you a way to speed up the process — healing faster, solutions faster, freedom faster — by the knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord. The more you know about Jesus, the more grace and peace are multiplied. Blessings come to you quickly. 🚀

💎 How good is this? The speed of your blessing can be chosen by you. It is in your hands — how quickly you want to receive grace and peace. Shalom means fullness: the healing you require, the provision you require — everything complete is called peace. You reach that fullness quickly by knowing Jesus Christ.

That is why we come to hear about one person only: Jesus Christ. Only Jesus Christ. ✝️

In His presence: deliverance, answers, and miracles — not bondage under self-effort.

🌳 Two Trees — What Will You Eat?

Even in the Garden of Eden there were two different trees. Your Bible presents the same choice today:

TreeWhat it isWhere your focus goesWho gets the glory
🍎 Knowledge of good & evilLearning what is good and what is evilOn yourself — self-improvementCredit goes to you
🌿 Tree of life (Jesus)“I am the way, the truth, and the life”On Christ — what He did at the crossGlory goes to God

🍽️ Eating is fighting in Scripture: “He prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies.” At the table you eat — and eating is fighting as per the Bible. The question is: what are you eating? You can eat from Jesus, or eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  • 📖 When you open the Bible, focus on what Jesus is telling you — what Jesus did for us at the cross.
  • 🪞 Knowing good and evil makes you focus on yourself to improve yourself.
  • ✝️ Knowing Jesus helps you focus on Him.
  • 🏆 When you focus on you and get the blessing, credit goes to you — not Christ.
  • 🙌 When you focus on Christ and get the blessing, you say: all the glory belongs to God.

🕊️ Today: Freedom — What Christ Paid For

How many need freedom? We need freedom from sickness, from struggles, from pain and sorrow. God wants you in freedom. He came and died in this world so that you can get it. 💚

👨‍👦 The father’s gift: Imagine a father who worked hard, took all the pain, saved every penny, and did not enjoy his own life — so his son would not have to struggle. The greatest honour a son can give that father is to enjoy the life the father purchased. The more you focus on what Jesus has done for you, the greatest privilege you give to God.

But for freedom there is a trouble: what separates us from Christ? When we are separated from Christ, we go into bondage — sickness, pain, and sorrow. Sin, unbelief, things we like more than Jesus, disobedience — we know many answers. But what does the Bible say separates us? That is what we must focus on so we can come close to Christ and receive deliverance. 🎯

⚠️ Galatians 5:4 — What Actually Separates You from Christ

“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”Galatians 5:4 (KJV)

Here the Bible clearly tells us the thing which separates you from Christ. You can go to church, pray regularly, read the Bible — yet Christ be of no effect. There is a real possibility that Christ can be of no effect in your life. 😔

✝️ Jesus Welcomed Sinners — Not Self-Righteous People

When Jesus came to earth, He was never separated from sinners. He never rebuked the sinner — He welcomed the sinner, then wanted to change the sinner. Imagine two groups: those who claim they are good, and sinners. Who is good in this group? If you think you are good, Jesus said: I came for sinners to repent, not for the righteous — you are not for Me, you can go. 🚪

“There is no one righteous, no, not one.”Romans 3:10 (NKJV)

We cannot become righteous by our own effort. Through our own works we cannot become righteous — only by the blood of Jesus Christ. Now who do you glorify when you are healed because of His righteousness? Jesus — obviously. It is not you; it is all Jesus. 🙌

🏛️ When Good Works Block the Blessing

  • 💰 “I did all this charity, I have been helping others” — then you get a blessing → you credit yourself, not Jesus.
  • 📜 There are more than 600 sins in the Bible — even one sin makes you a sinner.
  • 😨 Fear is a sin most of the time.
  • 😰 Worry is a sin most of the time.
  • Doubt is a sin most of the time — because doubt comes from lack of faith.
  • ⚖️ Anything without faith is sin. That is why we cannot be justified by the law.

If only by rules and regulations we could go to heaven, no one in this world could go. That is why Jesus came — by default, no one is eligible. Yet one group claimed righteousness because of their acts: the Pharisees and Sadducees — temple workers who read the Bible morning, evening, and night, prayed constantly, made sure everything was proper. Their focus was not on Christ. When they thought “I am really good — I deserve the blessings”, Christ became of no effect. 😤

🔑 The one thing that separates you from Christ: when you try to focus on yourself — your self-effort, your deserving. That is when you go into bondage, when freedom is taken, when you fall from grace. But when you say: God, it is not about me — it is all about You. I am blessed because You paid at the cross. Not because of who I am, but because of who You are — you draw near to Christ and receive freedom. ✨

If sin permanently separated you from Christ, who would come and redeem you? How could Jesus be your cleanser? The pure gospel: come as you are to Christ and He will cleanse you. Last time we saw that by the words Jesus spoke, people were cleansed — the Berean Jews listened to the word more eagerly and became more noble. 📖

🔑 Three Ways to Receive Freedom

All freedom flows from hearing and knowing Christ — not from your performance. Here are the three paths:

#PathKey truth
1️⃣Freedom through the SpiritWhere the Spirit is, there is freedom
2️⃣Freedom through the SonThe Son sets you free indeed
3️⃣Freedom through the FatherIn Father’s house there is more than enough

1️⃣ Freedom Through the Spirit

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”2 Corinthians 3:17 (ESV)

When the Holy Spirit is in your life, there is deliverance, transformation, and prosperity. The question: how do we regularly receive the Holy Spirit? Prayer and Bible reading help — but Scripture shows something specific. 👇

“While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.”Acts 10:44 (ESV)

Peter was speaking — not praying, not reading — just preaching. Even now, as the word goes forth, the Holy Spirit can come forward. But what was he speaking? That is the most important question. We can hear loads of sermons on YouTube — but what made the Holy Spirit fall?

🤗 The Greek word for fell is like hugging — the same word when the father hugged the prodigal son. The Holy Spirit comes and hugs you when you hear certain words. Do you want Him to hug you regularly? The more He comes and hugs you, the more you are delivered, healed, and made whole.

“Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?”Galatians 3:2 (ESV)

The Greek for receive here means a continuous pouring of the Spirit. Hear daily, morning and evening — the same word Peter preached — and there is constant flowing of Spirit in your life.

“Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?”Galatians 3:5 (ESV)

The comparison is not between sin and hearing — it is between works of the law and hearing with faith. When you learn good and evil from the Bible and focus on yourself, the Holy Spirit will not fall. When you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you focus on yourself, not Jesus. But when you hear with faith what Jesus did at the cross — again and again — the Holy Spirit falls. 🕊️

2️⃣ Freedom Through the Son

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”John 8:36 (ESV)

The Son needs to come and make you free — that is why He came from heaven to earth. How? Knowing the truth sets you free.

“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”John 8:31–32 (ESV)

Abide / remain in my word — what does remain mean? If I say remain here, I will be back in five minutes — you do nothing. You just stay. It is not you who will do; it is He who will do for you. Our focus is on Him. 🪑

📖 Mary and Martha: Mary was sitting at Jesus’ feet — doing nothing, just hearing the word of God. Sitting itself is abiding in His words. When you sit and listen, that delivers you free.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus… the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.”Romans 8:1–2 (ESV)

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”John 5:24 (ESV)

3️⃣ Freedom Through the Father

“And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need. But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!’”Luke 15:14,17 (ESV)

The prodigal son — a severe famine covered the whole country. But before his repentance, there was something else: a turning point. He knew one thing others around him did not — even in famine, in his father’s house there is more than enough. He was far away, yet he knew his father’s servants had abundance. 🏠

💡 It is all about knowing. Even before repentance, he knew who his father was. Freedom through the Spirit, the Son, and the Father — all by hearing and knowing about Christ.

✨ Acts 10:43 — The Word That Made the Spirit Fall

Are you ready? This is what Peter was speaking so the Holy Spirit fell — so He came and hugged everyone who heard:

“To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”Acts 10:43 (ESV)

While he was still speaking: your sins are forgiven. Your effort did not forgive you. Your confession did not forgive you. Jesus forgave you — He died so your sins could be forgiven. Peter focused on Christ and what He did at the cross — not on what is good and what is bad. 🎯

📖 Eat from the Tree of Life — Hear Jesus Only

When you take a Bible, it is not about focusing on good and evil. If you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you shall die. Start eating from the tree of life — that is Jesus. Then you will have life, draw closer to Christ, and receive freedom. You will be healed, anointed, acute, and empowered. 🌿

“I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”Jeremiah 17:10

“He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.”Psalm 103:10

Under the law, deeds determine reward. Under the gospel, God does not treat you according to your sins — because Christ already paid. That is why we hear about Jesus only. ✝️

🎯 The Takeaway

  1. 🌿 Eat from the tree of life (Jesus) — not the tree of self-improvement.
  2. ⚠️ Justifying yourself by the law makes Christ of no effect — you fall from grace into bondage.
  3. 🕊️ Freedom through the Spirit — hear the gospel of the cross with faith; the Spirit falls like a father’s embrace.
  4. ✝️ Freedom through the Son — abide (sit and hear); the truth sets you free indeed.
  5. 🏠 Freedom through the Father — know His house has more than enough, even in famine.
  6. 🙌 Receive the freedom Christ paid for — and give Him all the glory.

The speed of your blessing is in your hands. Hear Jesus again and again — and walk in the freedom He purchased. 🕊️
