🌿 In His Presence There Is Deliverance
God has brought us into a greener pasture. In His presence: deliverance, solutions, answers, miracles. We must hear the word again and again — not once and forget for months. Israel failed to enter the promised land because they heard once but did not keep hearing. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ — the same verse speaks at deeper levels each time. 📖
⚡ Grace and peace can be multiplied — not slow addition but fast multiplication. The speed of your blessing is in your hands: by increasing the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Shalom is fullness — complete healing, provision, peace. Focus on Christ alone.
🌳 Two Trees — What Will You Eat?
| Tree | Focus | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 🍎 Knowledge of good & evil | On yourself — self-improvement | Credit goes to you |
| 🌿 Tree of life (Jesus) | On Christ — what He did at the cross | Glory goes to God |
“He prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies.” Eating is fighting in Scripture. The question: what are you eating? Feed on Jesus — not the law’s catalogue of good and evil. A father who slaved and saved for his son honours the father most when the son enjoys what was purchased. The greatest honour you give God is to receive the freedom Christ bought. 🎁
⚠️ What Separates You from Christ?
“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” — Galatians 5:4 (KJV)
You can pray, read, and serve — yet Christ be of no effect. Why? Not primarily “sin” in the abstract — but self-justification by works. Jesus never separated from sinners; He rebuked those who claimed righteousness by their acts (Pharisees). When you say “I deserve this blessing because of my charity”, you credit yourself — and fall from grace into bondage.
“There is no one righteous, no, not one.” — Romans 3:10 (NKJV)
Fear, worry, and doubt are sin — anything without faith. If sin permanently separated you from Christ, who could cleanse you? The pure gospel: come as you are; His word cleanses as you hear (like the noble Bereans).
1️⃣ Freedom Through the Spirit
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17 (ESV)
How do you receive the Spirit?
“While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.” — Acts 10:44 (ESV)
“Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?” — Galatians 3:2 (ESV)
Not random verses — Peter preached forgiveness through Christ’s name (Acts 10:43). The Spirit “fell” (epipiptō — like the father hugging the prodigal). Hear what Jesus did at the cross again and again → continuous pouring of the Spirit. Law-focus blocks the fall; faith-hearing opens it. 🤗
2️⃣ Freedom Through the Son
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36 (ESV)
“If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31–32 (ESV)
Abide / remain = sit like Mary at Jesus’ feet — doing nothing but hearing. Not striving; He acts for you. Knowing the truth (Christ crucified) sets you free.
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus… the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” — Romans 8:1–2 (ESV)
3️⃣ Freedom Through the Father
“…when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread…'” — Luke 15:17 (ESV)
Famine covered the country — yet the prodigal knew before repentance: in Father’s house there is abundance. Freedom through Spirit, Son, and Father all flow from hearing and knowing Christ — not your performance.
“To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” — Acts 10:43 (ESV) — the word that made the Spirit fall. ✨
