🌾 100 Fold Blessings — Four Levels of Faith
Today we see about hundredfold blessing — Matthew 13:23. In the Bible there is something called a hundredfold. It is not written at random; it is written just for you. When Isaac sowed, he reaped a hundredfold. Imagine you spend a little time with God and do a little thing — God can multiply it a hundred times. That is a real possibility in Scripture, and when you believe it, you will see it. Whenever you do something in faith, expect a hundredfold blessing.
There are four different levels of faith — a path of faith. As you walk it, you move toward thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and hundredfold fruit. Sometimes you believe God will take away all sickness — zero sickness — yet you still feel unwell. This teaching shows you where you are on the path and how to keep moving forward.
📖 The Goal — Good Ground
The parable of the sower ends on good ground: hear the word, understand it, and bear fruit — some thirty, some sixty, some a hundredfold. That is God’s goal for your life.
Matthew 13:23 (NKJV)
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
🔥 Pentecost Power — Greater Works
Jesus said: Most assuredly — not “maybe.” Your words might fail if you doubt, but Jesus’ word is the most powerful. He said you will do what He did — and more. If He raised someone dead three days, you can believe for any dead situation. Prophetically, even dry bones receive life — not only in heaven, but on earth, after many years.
These words are not filler in the Bible. God wants to do through you what prophets did before the cross — and more, because we live in the latter rain, greater than the former rain (walking on water, stopping the sun, and the like). On Pentecost, when they spoke in tongues, power came — the same power Jesus had. When you speak in tongues, the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Two things happen: you do what Jesus did, and greater things than He did.
John 14:12 (NKJV)
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
✝️ Message of Jesus vs Law & Prophets
Why focus on goodness, not badness? Because the gospel means good news. If I say God is angry with you and will punish you — is that good news? Yet some verses speak of wrath. Psalm 103:10 says He will not deal with us according to our sins. Romans 2:6 says God will render to each according to deeds. Romans 2:8 speaks of indignation and wrath. Two verses seem to contradict — which do you say Amen to?
Context is key. Old Testament can carry new-covenant truth; New Testament can quote old-covenant law. You must know which covenant and to whom it was spoken — just as Judas hanged himself, but that does not mean you should. Psalm 103 is Messianic: David prophesied the cross — He took our sins, pains, and sorrows. Romans 2 is Paul convincing an unbeliever: if you reject Christ, you face judgment by deeds. Believers do not receive God’s anger; it was poured out on Jesus at Calvary.
Do not mix three messages: Moses (law — doers justified), Elijah (wrath on the disobedient), and Jesus (mercy and grace). Stay on the message of Jesus.
Message of Jesus — Psalm 103:10 (NKJV)
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
Message of Jesus — Psalm 103:8-9 (NKJV)
The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
Message of Moses — Romans 2:13 (NKJV)
(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;
Message of Moses — Romans 2:6 (NKJV)
who “will render to each one according to his deeds”:
Message of Elijah — Romans 2:8 (NKJV)
but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,
1️⃣ Level 1 — Starting Faith
Some people say sickness is “part of life” — they have not even started faith. Do not believe what you experience in your body; believe what the Bible says. What you see is the fact; what God says is the truth. Only the truth sets you free — not the facts. Jesus took all your pain; that means zero pain is yours in truth, even if pain visits your body for a season.
When seed falls by the wayside, birds devour it. When anyone hears the word and does not understand it, the wicked one snatches it. You might go online for a verse and hear “sickness is normal” — that steals the seed. Always focus on truth, not facts. Faith comes by hearing — and hearing — and hearing the word of God.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Matthew 13:4 (NKJV)
And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them.
Matthew 13:19 (NKJV)
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
2️⃣ Level 2 — Faith Tested (Shallow Faith)
You believe God took all sickness — then tribulation comes. Human tendency is to believe the fact (“I am sick”) instead of the truth (“By His stripes I am healed”). God wants you to pass this level. Keep hearing the same verse again and again until you are rooted. Knowing the truth once is not enough — keep hearing until faith is established.
Stony ground receives the word with joy but has no root; when persecution arises, it stumbles. James says testing produces patience. Romans 4 shows Abraham was blessed by faith — God wants you to receive the same and even greater.
James 1:3 (NKJV)
knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
Matthew 13:5-6 (NKJV)
Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away.
Matthew 13:20-21 (NKJV)
But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
3️⃣ Level 3 — Keeping the Faith (Distracted Faith)
Thorns choke the word — cares of this world and deceitfulness of riches. Even in sickness, hold the confession of hope without wavering. When you see darkness, speak light. The more sickness you feel, the more you must speak what truth says — not what facts say. Peter did not look at the waves; Paul did not look at the storm. That is keeping the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV)
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV)
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
Matthew 13:7 (NKJV)
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.
Matthew 13:22 (NKJV)
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
4️⃣ Level 4 — Victory & Fruitful Faith
Whatever is born of God overcomes the world — and you are born of God. You are God’s child. Jesus wants you to be like Him and do even more. There is a difference between sickness overcoming you and you conquering sickness. The highest level: you touch others and they are healed too. Good ground yields thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold.
1 John 5:4 (NKJV)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Matthew 13:8 (NKJV)
But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Matthew 13:23 (NKJV)
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
✅ Final Thought
The four levels: starting faith, faith tested, keeping the faith, victory in faith. Believing for health but still feeling sick? Encourage yourself: my thirtyfold is coming, my sixtyfold is coming, my hundredfold is coming. In trouble, speak confident hope. Hear the word again and again; speak it again and again — the more you hear and speak, the more you understand, and you will see the hundredfold. Amen.
