11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

  • Holy Spirit

We are made in God’s image

So we have,

  • Body
  • Soul
  • Spirit

Spirit, Soul and Body

God dwells in our spirit because God is a Spirit

 

For Unbelievers

  • Spirit — Soul — Body
  • Spirit, Soul and Body are dead
  • They don’t touch each other
  • They can’t reason with their Soul (Mind) , who is God

For Believers ( who don’t believe they are the righteousness of God in Christ )

  • Spirit –> Soul — Body
  • Spirit is LIVE through Jesus Christ
  • Spirit touches the Soul
  • Soul doesn’t realise that they are the Righteousness of God in Christ, so soul doesn’t touch the body
  • So body is still dead

For believers ( who believes they are the Righteousness of God in Christ )

  • Spirit –> Soul –> Body
  • Spirit touches the Soul
  • Soul touches the Body
  • Life flows from the spirit to the body through soul
  • Life => Zovi Life ( Life that God lives by ) => Health, Healing..

Double portion

  • Trinity God Mentioned two times in one verse

Because of Righteousness

  • Righteousness in a Gift

Dead body getting life

  • Body is dead in verse 10
  • Body getting life in verse 11

You are healthy NOT because

  • You are healthy not because you are doing exercise regularly
  • You are healthy not because you eat proper diet
  • You are healthy not because you super perfect

You are healthy because

  • You are healthy because of Jesus finished work on the cross
  • He took all your diseases and sickness on the cross
  • Be established with the work of Jesus on the cross

23 But He answered her not a word.

And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”

26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”

27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
