Job 21:17 in Maale

17 «ጌኤዞ ጋሳ ፑርቶ ዓሶኮ ፖዒ ባይቂ ቤቂያ? ሃሣ ባይዛ ባኣዚ ዔያቶይዳ ኬዲ ዔራ? ፆኦሲ ዔያቶ ፔ ዻጎና ሜታሲ ቤቂያ?

How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

How oft is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? That their calamity cometh upon them? That `God' distributeth sorrows in his anger?

How frequently is the light of the evil-doers put out, or does trouble come on them? how frequently does his wrath take them with cords?

How often is the lamp of the wicked put out, and cometh their calamity upon them? Doth he distribute sorrows [to them] in his anger?

How oft is the candle of the wicked put out? and how oft cometh their destruction upon them? God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

"How often is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? That their calamity comes on them? That God distributes sorrows in his anger?

How oft is the lamp of the wicked extinguished, And come on them doth their calamity? Pangs He apportioneth in His anger.

5 «ጎሞ ዓሶኮ ፖዓ ባይቃንዳኔ፤ ታማ ዔኤታሢያ ላሚ ጴዻዓኬ።

18 ፖዓፓ ዹሞ ባንሢ ዔያታ ዳውሲንታንዳኔ፤ ዓሳ ናንጋ ዓጫፓኣ ዔያታ ባይቃንዳኔ።

10 ጎሞ ዓሶኮ ሜታሢ ሚርጌኬ፤ ናንጊና ናንጋ ጎዳ ጉሙርቃ ዓሳ ጋዓንቴ ዒዛኮ ናንጊና ናንጋ ናሹሞና ካንቂንታንዳኔ።

7 ኔኤኮ ጎሪንታ ኑና ኩርሴኔ፤ ዱማ ዱማ ዎዻ ባኮናኣ ኑ ዲቃቴኔ።

9 ፂሎ ዓሶኮ ፖዓ ዓኣፓ ዱዱካያኬ፤ ጎሞ ዓሶኮ ፖዓ ጋዓንቴ ሃሃይቃኔ።

20 ፔኤኮ ዓዶ፥ ሃንጎ ዒንዶ ጫሽካያኮ ናንጋ ሻኔ ዹሚዳ ባይቃ ፖዒጉዲ ማዓኔ።

20 ዋይዚ ዒፃ ዓሲ «ሃጊ ታኣኒ ሃያ ዴንቃንዳኔ» ጌይ ሃጊ ማዓ ዎዛ ጌሣ ባኣዚ ባኣሴ።

8 ዒማና ቦኦዞንሢ ጪንጮንሢ ኮራ ‹ኑ ፖዓ ሃይቃኒ ዎኦታሢሮ፥ ዒንሢኮ ላምባስካፓ ኑም ዒንጉዋቴራ!› ጋዓዛ፥

46 ጎዳሢ ዒዛኮ ዔርቲባኣ ዎዴይዳ ሙኪ፥ ዬያ ማዻሢ ኮሺ ጳርቃንዳኔ፤ ሃሣ ዒዛ ጉሙርቂንቱዋ ዓሲ ማሂ ፓይዳንዳኔ።

8 ጋዓንቴ ፔኤም ማዓ ባኣዚ ኮዓያ፥ ሃሣ ጎኑሞ ሃሺ ፑርታ ማዻዞንሢዳ ፆኦሲፓ ፑርታ ዎጌና ጎሪንቲና ሙካንዳኔ።
