Grace will make us a Cheerful Giver

The Cheerful Giver

2 Corinthians 9:6-8
New King James Version (NKJV)

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able (Present Active Indicative) to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

  • Able : from the word “dunamis” in Greek ( Dynamite word is from “Dunamis” )
    • Present Active Indicative : God is making it able ( enabling ), God is powering NOW
  • Always : good times, bad times, harvest times,,, all times

2 Corinthians 9:8
Amplified Bible (AMP)

And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.

How are we eligible to receive all these Abundance?

2 Corinthians 8:9
New King James Version (NKJV)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
