3. How to seek the Kingdom of God?

  • Be conscious that you are the Righteousness of God in Christ
  • Be conscious that Righteousness is a gift
  • Be conscious to seek “HIS” Righteousness but “NOT YOUR” Righteousness ( Your Righteousness = Self Righteousness )
  • DON’T be conscious about your sins or problems
  • Joy and Peace flows when you realize that ALL(past, present, future) your sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ finished work
  • Listen to anointed sermons that reminds you how righteous you are because of the perfect sacrifice of Christ

4. Why need to seek the Kingdom of God?

Matthew 6:31-33

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 

32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

All these things shall be added to you

  • What shall we eat?
  • What shall we drink?
  • What shall we wear?

“the Gentile seek”

  • The word “seek” in “the Gentiles seek” (verse 32) in Greek = epizeteo.
  • It means “to seek with all their might with much sweat or with much stress”.

“seek first the kingdom of God”

  • The word “seek” in “seek first the kingdom of God” in Greek = zeteo
  • It means “to hunger, to desire to worship”
  • It is simply a hungering, a desiring for the kingdom of God, without any labor or toil.

Example

  • When something troubles you, don’t focus on correcting the problem.
  • Instead, seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
  • Make it a priority to have your inner man flowing with His peace and joy, and He will take care of that problem for you!
