Have we got forgiveness for ALL our sins?

Colossians 2:13-14

New King James Version (NKJV)

13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses,  14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

  • God is the one who created time.
  • God is out of time
  • ALL means ALL
  • ALL means your lifelong trespasses.
  • ALL means Past, Present and Future Trespasses
  • ALL in Greek is pas. ( http://biblehub.com/greek/3956.htm )
  • It means each, every, any, all, the whole, all things, everything.
  • This would seem to support the claim that ALL sins past present and future were forgiven at the cross.

Hebrews 10:12-14

English Standard Version (ESV)

12 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 1For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

Psalm 103:3

New King James Version (NKJV)

Who forgives ALL your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

God is outside time

  • Eternity is the absence of Time

Isaiah 57:15

New King James Version (NKJV)

15 For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Genesis 2:17

New King James Version (NKJV)

17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

  • When Adam and Eve sinned, they didn’t die immediately.
  • Because God is outside time
  • He saw it as a moment they sinned.
  • They changed from immortal to mortal on that day
  • Their eventual death became certainty
