19 వారికి డబ్బులివ్వ జూపి “నేనెవరి మీద చేతులుంచుతానో వాడు పరిశుద్ధాత్మ పొందేలా ఈ అధికారం నాకివ్వండి” అని అడిగాడు.

1 ఆ రోజుల్లోనే శిష్యులు వచ్చి, “పరలోక రాజ్యంలో అందరికంటే గొప్పవాడు ఎవరు?” అని యేసుని అడిగారు.

7 ఆ విందుకు ఆహ్వానం అందినవారు భోజనపంక్తిలో అగ్ర స్థానాలను ఎన్నుకోవడం చూసి ఆయన ఇలా అన్నాడు,

44 ఇతరుల నుండి కలిగే మెప్పును అంగీకరిస్తూ ఏకైక దేవుని నుండి కలిగే మెప్పును వెదకని మీరు ఎలా విశ్వసిస్తారు?

9 సీమోను అనే ఒకడు అంతకు ముందు అక్కడ మంత్రవిద్య చేస్తూ, తానొక గొప్పవాడినని చెప్పుకొంటూ, సమరయ ప్రజలను మంత్రముగ్ధులను చేసేవాడు.

17 అప్పుడు పేతురు, యోహాను వారి మీద చేతులుంచగా వారు పరిశుద్ధాత్మను పొందారు.

8 చివరిగా అకాలంలో పుట్టినట్టున్న నాకు కూడా కనిపించాడు.

9 అక్కడి సంఘానికి నేను రాశాను గాని, వారిలో గొప్పవాడుగా ఉండాలని కోరుకొనే దియోత్రెఫే మమ్మల్ని అంగీకరించడం లేదు.
