We are Jesus’s own flesh

Jesus

  • Cherishing us (making us happy only)

1 Peter 1:3

Amplified Bible (AMP)

3 Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

The Firstborn from the dead

Colossians 1:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Jesus is the Firstborn from the dead

Jesus loves us as Jesus loves Himself

Ephesians 5:28-29

Amplified Bible (AMP)

28 Even so husbands should love their wives as [being in a sense] their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

29 For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and carefully protects and cherishes it, as Christ does the church,

This “He who loves his own wife loves himself” verse clearly shows that Jesus loves us as He loves Himself

Love of God

We are His own flesh

  • Nourishing us
  • Carefully Protecting us
  • Cherishing us (making us happy only)

Note:

  • We are the Church
  • Christ is the Head

Colossians 1:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

What is the Joy for Jesus?

  • Jesus “Endured” the Cross for this Joy
  • Jesus sold all He had (He gave himself) for this Joy

Shows that the highest priority for Jesus is this Joy

this Joy is MAKING US HAPPY by

  • freeing us from sins (making us righteous, which takes us to heaven)
  • freeing us from diseases
  • freeing us from crying
  • giving us peace
  • giving us Joy

Hebrews 12:2

New King James Version (NKJV)

2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Parable of Jesus

Matthew 13:44

Amplified Bible (AMP)

44 The kingdom of heaven is like something precious buried in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field.

Jesus Christ “Endured” the Cross for OUR Joy

Hebrews 12:2

New King James Version (NKJV)

2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

  • Jesus Christ #endured the cross, for OUR Joy.
  • Jesus Christ didn’t enjoy the cross.
  • He “endured” the pain, as our Happiness ( permanent happiness : permanent free from deceases, permanent free from sickness, permanent free from pain, permanent free from crying and more ) was set before Him if he would endure the pain.
    • His Joy is to give us permanent happiness, so He endured the pain.
    • His highest Priority is to give us permanent happiness, so He endured the pain.

Matthew 13:44-46

Amplified Bible (AMP)

44 The kingdom of heaven is like something precious buried in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field.

45 Again the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a dealer in search of fine and precious pearls,

46 Who, on finding a single pearl of great price, went and sold all he had and bought it.

Sold all he had

Sold all he had = All Jesus had was Himself, so he gave Himself. He died for you and me on the cross, to redeem us from sin and to give us permanent happiness (JOY)

How you get Righteousness?

Note:

  • Righteousness is a Gift
  • Righteousness is NOT a Reward
  • There is NOTHING for you to do to get righteousness.
  • Jesus Christ is the Gift of Righteousness

Difference between Reward and Gift

  • Reward: You DO something to get the reward : You earn it
  • Gift: You get it freely, You DON’T need to DO anything

How you get Righteousness?

  • to receive the Gift of Righteousness: It DIDN’T say you to be good or you to do good or you to confess your sins or you to don’t sin
  • It says Believe in Christ Jesus and Receive the Gift of Righteousness, which leeds you to Everlasting Life.

John 3:16

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

  • Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
  • You can enter heaven only when you are Righteous.
  • You go to heaven by receiving the Gift of Righteousness
  • Jesus Christ is the Gift of Righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:21

New King James Version (NKJV)

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

How you become supernatural?

Mark 16:17-18

King James Version (KJV)

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Only After this part “they shall speak with new tongues”, it is followed by

  • They shall take up serpents; and
  • if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
  • they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

It clearly shows that the more you speak in Tongues, more you become Supernatural
