18 ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ତଳଭୂମିର ଓ ଯିହୁଦା-ଦକ୍ଷିଣାଞ୍ଚଳର ନଗରମାନ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରି ବୈଥ୍ଶେମଶ୍ ଓ ଅୟାଲୋନ୍ ଓ ଗଦେରୋତ୍, ପୁଣି ସୋଖୋ ଓ ତହିଁର ଉପନଗର, ତିମ୍ନା ଓ ତହିଁର ଉପନଗର, ଗିମ୍ସୋ ଓ ତହିଁର ଉପନଗରସକଳ ହସ୍ତଗତ କରି ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲେ।
