24 പകയുള്ളവൻ അധരംകൊണ്ട് വേഷം ധരിക്കുന്നു; ഉള്ളിൽ അവൻ ചതിവ് സംഗ്രഹിച്ചു വയ്ക്കുന്നു.

He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;

With his lips the hater makes things seem what they are not, but deceit is stored up inside him;

A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, But he harbors evil in his heart.

6 ഒരുത്തൻ എന്നെ കാണുവാൻ വരുമ്പോൾ കപടവാക്കുകൾ പറയുന്നു; അവൻ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നീതികേട് ചിന്തിക്കുകയും പുറത്തുപോയി അത് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

18 പക മറച്ചുവയ്ക്കുന്നവൻ വ്യാജമുള്ളവൻ; ഏഷണി പറയുന്നവൻ ഭോഷൻ.

5 നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങൾ ന്യായം; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങളോ ചതിവത്രെ.

17 സത്യം പറയുന്നവൻ നീതി അറിയിക്കുന്നു; കള്ളസാക്ഷിയോ വഞ്ചന അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

20 ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ചതിവ് ഉണ്ട്; സമാധാനകാംക്ഷികൾക്ക് സന്തോഷം ഉണ്ട്.

8 വഴി തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നത് വിവേകിയുടെ ജ്ഞാനം; ചതിക്കുന്നതോ ഭോഷന്മാരുടെ ഭോഷത്തം.
