14 യിരെമ്യാവിനെ കാവൽപ്പുരമുറ്റത്തുനിന്നു വരുത്തി അവനെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകേണ്ടതിന് ശാഫാന്റെ മകനായ അഹീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഗെദല്യാവിനെ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ താമസിച്ചു.
