18 मैं उठकर अपने बाप के पास जाऊँगा और उससे कहूँगा, 'ऐ बाप ! मैं आसमान का और तेरी नज़र में गुनहगार हुआ |

14 इसलिए कि अगर तुम आदमियों के क़ुसूर मु'आफ़ करोगे तो तुम्हारा आसमानी बाप भी तुम को मु'आफ़ करेगा।

11 पस जबकि तुम बुरे होकर अपने बच्चों को अच्छी चीज़ें देना जानते हो, तो तुम्हारा बाप जो आसमान पर है; अपने माँगने वालों को अच्छी चीज़ें क्यूँ न देगा।

2 “ उसने उनसे कहा, ““जब तुम दू'आ करो तो कहो, ! ऐ बाप ! तेरा नाम नाम पाक माना जाए, तेरी बादशाही आए |”

21 बेटे ने उससे कहा, 'ऐ बाप ! मैं आसमान का और तेरी नज़र मैं गुनहगार हुआ | अब इस लायक नहीं रहा कि फिर तेरा बेटा कहलाऊँ |'

13 “लेकिन महसूल लेने वाले ने दूर खड़े होकर इतना भी न चाहा कि आसमान की तरफ आँख उठाए,बल्कि छाती पीट पीट कर कहा ऐ खुदा|,मुझ गुनहगार पर रहम कर |’

8 अगर हम कहें कि हम बेगुनाह हैं तो अपने आपको धोका देते हैं ,और हम में सच्चाई नहीं |
