17 ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను తరమడానికి వెళ్లనివారు హాయిలో గాని, బేతేలులో గాని ఒక్కరూ మిగల్లేదు. వారు ద్వారం మూయకుండానే పట్టణాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను తరమడానికి వెళ్ళిపోయారు.
