அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மேல் கோபமூண்டவராகி, அவர்கள் அப்புறம் தங்கள் சத்துருக்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கக் கூடாதபடி கொள்ளையிடுகிற கொள்ளைக்காரர் கையில் அவர்களை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற அவர்கள் பகைஞரின் கையிலே விற்றுப்போட்டார்.
