எப்பிராயீம் மனுஷர் ஏகமாய்க் கூடி வடக்கே புறப்பட்டுப்போய், யெப்தாவை நோக்கி: நீ எங்களை உன்னோடேகூட வரும்படி அழைப்பியாமல் அம்மோன் புத்திரர்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ணப்போனதென்ன? உன் வீட்டையும் உன்னையும்கூட அக்கினியால் சுட்டுப்போடுவோம் என்றார்கள்.
