காணாமற்போன மாடு, கழுதை, ஆடு, வஸ்திரம் முதலியவைகளில் யாதொன்றைப் பிறனொருவன் தன்னுடையது என்று சொல்லி குற்றஞ்சாற்றினால், இருதிறத்தாருடைய வழக்கும் நியாயாதிபதிகளிடத்தில் வரக்கடவது; நியாயாதிபதிகள் எவனைக் குற்றவாளி என்று தீர்க்கிறார்களோ, அவன் மற்றவனுக்கு இரட்டிப்பாகக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.
