அப்பொழுது யூதர்கள் அலெக்சந்தர் என்பவனை முன்னிற்கத் தள்ளுகையில், கூட்டத்திலே சிலர் அவனை முன்னே இழுத்துவிட்டார்கள். அலெக்சந்தர் கையமர்த்தி, ஜனங்களுக்கு உத்தரவுசொல்ல மனதாயிருந்தான்.
