39 ਜਦ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਲੜਨ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨੀ ਮਾਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਤੀਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।
