9 ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੁਝ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਘਾਤ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ । ਤਦ ਦਲੀਲਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਸਮਸੂਨ, ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ ਹਨ !” ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਛੰਮਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਣ ਦੀ ਲੱਟ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਾ ।
