17 ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਈ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਤ-ਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਭੱਜ ਪਏ ।
