8 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ହେଲା; ତହିଁରେ ଦାଉଦ ବାହାରି ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମହାସଂହାରରେ ବଧ କଲେ; ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ପଳାୟନ କଲେ।
