5 വേനല്ക്കാലത്ത് ശേഖരിച്ചുവയ്ക്കുന്നവൻ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള മകൻ; കൊയ്ത്തുകാലത്ത് ഉറങ്ങുന്നവനോ നാണംകെട്ട മകൻ.

6 മടിയാ, ഉറുമ്പിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുക; അതിന്റെ വഴികൾ നോക്കി ബുദ്ധിപഠിക്കുക.

8 വേനല്ക്കാലത്ത് തന്റെ ആഹാരം ഒരുക്കുന്നു; കൊയ്ത്തുകാലത്ത് തന്റെ ഭക്ഷണം ശേഖരിക്കുന്നു.

4 സാമർത്ഥ്യമുള്ള സ്ത്രീ ഭർത്താവിന് ഒരു കിരീടം; നാണംകെട്ടവൾ അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾക്ക് ദ്രവത്വം.

2 നാണംകെട്ട മകന്റെമേൽ ബുദ്ധിമാനായ ദാസൻ ഭരണം നടത്തും; സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവകാശം പ്രാപിക്കും.

26 അപ്പനോട് അതിക്രമം കാണിക്കുകയും അമ്മയെ ഓടിച്ചുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ലജ്ജയും അപമാനവും വരുത്തുന്ന മകനാകുന്നു.

25 ഉറുമ്പ് ബലഹീനജാതി എങ്കിലും അത് വേനല്ക്കാലത്ത് ആഹാരം സമ്പാദിച്ചു വയ്ക്കുന്നു.

6 യഹോവയെ കണ്ടെത്താകുന്ന സമയത്ത് അവനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുവിൻ; അവൻ അടുത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവനെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുവിൻ.
