13 അവർ പോയശേഷം കർത്താവിന്റെ ദൂതൻ യോസഫിന് സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി: നീ ‘‘എഴുന്നേറ്റ് ശിശുവിനെയും അമ്മയെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ട് മിസ്രയീമിലേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോക, ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് പറയുംവരെ അവിടെ പാർക്കുക; ഹെരോദാവ് ശിശുവിനെ നശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
