6 യോനയുടെ സങ്കടത്തിൽ ആശ്വാസമായി അവന്റെ തലക്കു മുകളിൽ തണൽ ആയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവയായ ദൈവം ഒരു ആവണക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു. അത് അവന് മീതെ വളർന്നു പൊങ്ങി; യോനാ ആവണക്കു നിമിത്തം അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു.
