5 നാം യെഹൂദയുടെ നേരെ ചെന്ന് അതിനെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തി മതിൽ ഇടിച്ചു കടന്നു താബെയലിന്റെ മകനെ അവിടെ രാജാവായി വാഴിക്കണം’” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

Because that Aram counselled against thee evil, Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, saying:

2 യഹോവയ്ക്കും അവന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തനും വിരോധമായി ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുകയും അധിപതികൾ തമ്മിൽ ആലോചിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത്:

3 അവർ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉപായം വിചാരിക്കുകയും നിനക്ക് വിലയേറിയവരുടെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന കഴിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

11 യഹോവയ്ക്കു വിരോധമായി ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്ടനായ ആലോചനക്കാരൻ നിന്നിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 ഞാൻ അല്പം മാത്രം കോപിച്ചിരിക്കെ അവർ അനർത്ഥത്തിനായി സഹായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു സ്വൈരമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജനതകളോടു ഞാൻ അത്യന്തം കോപിക്കുന്നു.’
