7 നദിക്കരികിലും നദീതീരത്തും ഉള്ള പുല്പുറങ്ങളും നദീതീരത്തു വിതച്ച സകലവും ഉണങ്ങി പറന്ന് ഇല്ലാതെപോകും.

3 വലിയ വെള്ളത്തിന്മേൽ സീഹോർപ്രദേശത്തെ കൃഷിയും നൈൽനദിയിങ്കലെ കൊയ്ത്തും അതിന് വരുമാനമായിവന്നു; അത് ജനതകളുടെ ചന്ത ആയിരുന്നു.

13 ഇപ്പോൾ അതിനെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഉണങ്ങിവരണ്ട നിലത്തു നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

17 വിത്ത് കട്ടകളുടെ കീഴിൽ കിടന്ന് നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; ധാന്യം കരിഞ്ഞുപോയിരിക്കുകയാൽ പാണ്ടികശാലകൾ ശൂന്യമായും കളപ്പുരകൾ ഇടിഞ്ഞും പോകുന്നു.
