1 ആദാം തന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ ഹവ്വയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവൾ ഗർഭം ധരിച്ചു കയീനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു: “യഹോവയാൽ എനിക്കു ഒരു പുരുഷസന്തതിയെ ലഭിച്ചു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
