24 അതുകൊണ്ട് ദാനീയേൽ, ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ രാജാവ് നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന അര്യോക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് അവനോട്: “ബാബേലിലെ വിദ്വാന്മാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കരുത്; എന്നെ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകണം; ഞാൻ രാജാവിനെ അർത്ഥം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
