7 ഷണ്ഡാധിപൻ അവർക്ക് പുതിയ പേരുകൾ നൽകി; ദാനീയേലിന് അവൻ ബേൽത്ത്ശസ്സർ എന്നും ഹനന്യാവിന് ശദ്രക്ക് എന്നും മീശായേലിന് മേശക്ക് എന്നും അസര്യാവിന് അബേദ്-നെഗോ എന്നും പേരുവിളിച്ചു.
