4 അവന്റെ വക ആയിരം രഥങ്ങളും ആയിരത്തെഴുനൂറു കുതിരപ്പടയാളികളെയും ഇരുപതിനായിരം കാലാളുകളെയും ദാവീദ് പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു; രഥക്കുതിരകളിൽ നൂറു എണ്ണം മാത്രം സംരക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ശേഷം എല്ലാ കുതിരകളുടെയും കുതിഞരമ്പ് വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
