16 അവൻ അവനെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു. ദാവീദ് അവനോട്: “നിന്റെ രക്തം നിന്റെ തലമേൽ; യഹോവയുടെ അഭിഷിക്തനെ ഞാൻ കൊന്നു എന്ന് നിന്റെ വായ്കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ നിനക്ക് എതിരായി സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
