9 ഉടനെ രാജാവ് അമ്പതുപേർക്ക് അധിപതിയായ ഒരു പടനായകനെ അവന്റെ അമ്പത് പടയാളികളുമായി ഏലിയാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു; അവൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അവൻ ഒരു മലമുകളിൽ ഇരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു; അവൻ അവനോട്: “ദൈവപുരുഷാ, ഇറങ്ങിവരുവാൻ രാജാവ് കല്പിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
