21 അതിന് ശൗൽ: “ഞാൻ പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ മകനേ, ദാവീദേ, മടങ്ങിവരിക; എന്റെ ജീവൻ ഇന്ന് നിനക്ക് വിലയേറിയതായി തോന്നിയതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഇനി നിനക്ക് ദോഷം ചെയ്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ ഭോഷത്വം പ്രവർത്തിച്ച് അത്യന്തം തെറ്റിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
