36 അബീഗയിൽ നാബാലിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ രാജവിരുന്നുപോലെ ഒരു വിരുന്ന് കഴിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടു; നാബാലിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദത്തിലായി. അവന് നല്ലതുപോലെ ലഹരി പിടിച്ചിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൾ നേരം വെളുക്കുംവരെ വിവരം ഒന്നും അവനെ അറിയിച്ചില്ല.
