16 Tato chijila ta ay hunu juẍta ayco yin̈ mule, yaj mule mach chon̈yito yin̈ camical mach istan̈bal, cokꞌanawe iscꞌulal iscꞌul Comam Dios yin̈ naj, cat xin yakꞌni Comam iscawil naj. Wal xin ay huneꞌxa mule chon̈inito yul iskꞌab huneꞌ camical mach istan̈bal. Tato yin̈ huneꞌ mule tuꞌ bay ayco juẍtaj maca janab, caw chiwalan teyet mach chekꞌan iscꞌulal Comam Dios yiban̈, mach chiwalan teyet ta chextxahli yin̈.

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and `God' will give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: not concerning this do I say that he should make request.
