12 主曾对他们说∶“这里是休息的地方，让这些疲倦的人在这里歇息吧，这里很安宁。” 但是他们却不肯听。

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

11 但是我的子民不听从我的话，以色列不肯唯我是从。

10 那时，耶西的后代将兴起一位新王，他将成为万民归心的旗帜，列国要拜见他，他的居处将充满荣耀。

15 至高的主－以色列的圣者是这样说的∶“只要你们镇定地归依我，你们必能得救；只要你们安静地信靠我，你们必能强盛。‘不！我们能乘马逃走。’因此，你们必得奔逃！你们又说∶‘我们乘马如飞。’

16 主说： “你们要站在路旁，寻访古道，哪条路最好就走哪条；你们必定能为自己找到安宁。” 你们却说∶“不，我们不走那条道。”

11 但他们却不肯听。他们背叛我，无视我的话。”

14 我象旋风一样把他们卷走，扔到陌生的国度当中。他们的身后只留下一片被毁灭的、人烟绝迹的土地，他们美好的国土成了孤寂的荒野。”

28 所有背负重担、疲惫不堪的人，都到我这里来吧，我会让你们得到休息。

25 你们要当心，不要拒绝讲话的他，如果他们在拒绝从地上警告他们的那位时不能逃脱，那么我们拒绝从天上警告我们的那位时岂不是更难逃脱吗！
