7 亚哈斯派使者去见亚述王提革拉毗列色，说∶“我是你的仆人和臣子，现在，亚兰王和以色列王正在攻打我，求你出兵把我从他们手里救出来吧。”

37 你必将双手抱着头走出埃及，因为主已经弃绝了你寄托希望的这些国家，你不会由于他们的帮助而取得胜利。”

13 以法莲看到自己的病，犹大看到自己的伤，可是他们却去向亚述求助；他们请来了亚述王，但他既不能医你们的伤，也不能治你们的病。
