16 Obohjeéhtih weém nin pah queétdih wã niijíp jĩ: ‘Jwiít Roma baácdih moón ĩ maáta nin pah jwĩpĩ́ chãjna caá: Det naóh yacnitdih jwĩpĩ́ jwíih naáwát tʉ́ʉtna caá. Páant ĩ naóh yacatdih joinít, ĩ naóh yacniboodíh jwʉh jwĩ jwʉ́ʉb naáwát tʉ́ʉtna caá. Jwiít Romanowã páant jwĩ chãjcah, caandíh naóh yacnitdih jwĩpĩ́ wʉ̃hcan caá’, queétdih wã niijíp jĩ.

To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.
