3 তথাপিও দায়ূদে শপত খাই ক’লে, “মই তোমাৰ দৃষ্টিত যে অনুগ্ৰহপ্ৰাপ্ত হৈছোঁ, তাক তোমাৰ পিতৃয়ে ভালকৈ জানে; তেওঁ কৈছে, ‘যোনাথনক এই কথা জানিবলৈ নিদিবা, জানিলে সি অসন্তোষ পাব’। কিন্তু যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ আৰু তোমাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, মোৰ আৰু মৃত্যুৰ মাজত নিশ্চয়ে এখোজহে অন্তৰ আছে।”
