💛 Beloved — Do Not Worry: Matthew 6, God’s Provision, and Rest in Christ

1️⃣ Do Not Worry — Matthew 6:25–32
Jesus asks plainly: “Why do you worry?” When we place our problems before us, anxiety rises. But Scripture teaches a different foundation — value before provision. Life is more than food; the body more than clothing. Your heavenly Father already knows what you need.

2️⃣ Much More — Romans 8:32 and the Greater Gift
The greater gift guarantees the lesser. God did not spare His own Son — He gave Him up for us all. If He gave the greatest, how shall He not freely give all things with Him? When you feel “I am precious to God,” worry begins to fade.

3️⃣ How Not to Worry — Three Keys

4️⃣ David — Beloved by Name
David means “beloved.” Every time his name was spoken, he heard beloved. His boldness before Goliath came from belovedness, not military skill — “I come in the name of the LORD of hosts.” Daniel heard the same: “O Daniel, man greatly beloved.”

5️⃣ Jesus — The Beloved Son
Before any miracle or ministry, the Father declared: “This is My beloved Son.” Satan’s temptation dropped the word beloved — “If You are the Son of God…” Identity was settled first; temptation was resisted from rest, not proof. Sonship precedes service.

6️⃣ John — The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved
John never names himself — he calls himself “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” His identity was nearness to Jesus: leaning on His breast at the Last Supper, following close behind. Belovedness became the very thing he was known by.

7️⃣ Abraham — The LORD Will Provide (Jehovah-Jireh)
Abraham walked Isaac toward Moriah and said, “God will provide for Himself the lamb.” He trusted provision before he saw the ram. The substitute was already there, caught in the thicket — waiting to be seen. Grace and peace multiply through knowing God (2 Peter 1:2).

8️⃣ Come to Me — Rest for the Heavy Laden
Jesus invites the weary: “Come to Me… I will give you rest.” Worry is the burden of trying to carry tomorrow alone. When you believe God will take care — as Abraham declared, as the Father proved with His Son — anxiety loses its grip. The righteous are not shaken when their heart trusts in the Lord.
