👑 God of the Ages Part 2: Revelation, Spirit-Soul-Body, and the Father Revealed in Christ

Genesis 2:3 (NKJV)

“Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”

🎨 Highlight key: 🟩 = revelation truth · 🟨 = identity in Christ · bold = key terms

This study continues unpacking the God of the ages — how revelation awakens what the same communion bread could not do before, how God formed man spirit-soul-body, and how Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Father are one God in different manifestations.

Revelation awakens what ritual alone cannot — the same communion carries power when you see the active presence of God.

💡 Revelation Makes the Difference

Everything we do is based on revelation — not ritual alone. The same communion bread can pass through hands week after week with no effect, until the active presence of God is ministered and revelation awakens healing within you.

Without revelationWith revelation
Communion is a religious routineCommunion carries the active presence of God
The same bread, no changeThe same bread, healing awakened
Hearing without understandingTruth that transforms body and spirit
Questions remain unansweredScripture opens and faith responds

It is not the element that changes — it is what you see in it. When revelation comes, what was dormant awakens. That is why this teaching matters: you are not collecting information; you are receiving revelation that changes how you walk.

🫁 Bara and Asah — Created Alive, Formed Dead

Genesis 2:3 uses two Hebrew words for God’s work: bara (created from nothing) and asah (formed from pre-existing material). This distinction unlocks how God made man.

HebrewMeaningApplied to man
BaraCreated from nothingThe spirit of man — created alive, dwelling in God first
AsahFormed from existing materialThe body — formed from dust, lifeless until breath came

Adam was created alive as a spirit inside God, but formed dead as a body of dust. God then breathed into the nostrils of that formed body — and the real Adam, the spirit, entered the body and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:7 (NKJV)

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

🧬 Spirit, Soul, and Body — Why You Need All Three

When the spirit met the body, God created a buffer — the soul. Spirit and body should not communicate directly; the soul stands between them.

PartFunctionContact
SpiritThe real you — communes with GodGod contacts you through your spirit
SoulMind, will, emotions — the bufferHelps you understand yourself
BodyPhysical vessel on earthContacts the earthly realm

1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV)

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless…”

God cannot operate on earth through you without a body. He cannot speak to you without a spirit. You cannot understand yourself without a soul. All three are required for you to be fully present on earth as God intended.

✝️ Jesus — God Among Us, Lord After Resurrection

The name Jesus means God among us. The flesh was the vessel; Christ dwelt inside. After the resurrection, Scripture shifts — He is no longer simply called Jesus, but the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:19 (NKJV)

“For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell.”

All fullness — Father, Son, Holy Spirit — dwelt in that one vessel. The body was Jesus; the Lord Jesus Christ was inside the Jesus body. After resurrection, the distinction matters: you are speaking to the risen Lord, not merely the man from Galilee.

🔥 2 Corinthians 3:17 — The Lord Is That Spirit

2 Corinthians 3:17 (NKJV)

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

If you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Holy Spirit. If you have seen the Holy Spirit, you have seen Jesus. The child conceived in Mary was of the Holy Spirit — yet the Father is the source. Maturity is realising: same God, different manifestations.

Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit who would come in His name and preach only of Him. Who is He sending? The same One — appearing in the form that can dwell in millions of believers simultaneously.

☝️ Echad — One God, Multiple Manifestations

Hebrew uses two words for “one”: echad (compound one) and yachid (absolute singular). When Scripture says God is one, it uses echad — a compound unity, like one cluster of grapes with many grapes inside.

TermMeaningApplication
EchadCompound one — unity in diversityGod is one in essence, multiple in manifestation
Mono (Greek)Absolute singularJesus the one — not many forms of Jesus
Three manifestationsFather, Son, Holy SpiritOne God operating in three ways — not three gods

He operates as Father in heaven, as Son on the cross reconciling the world, and as Holy Spirit indwelling every believer. Not three separate beings — one God with three manifestations.

Baptism — Acts 2:38 and Matthew 28:19

Matthew 28:19 — baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 — Peter baptizes in the name of Jesus Christ. Is there a contradiction? No — because Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one name. When you baptize in the name of Jesus Christ, you baptize in the fullness of the Godhead.

👶 Abba — The Intimacy of a Child With the Father

Romans 8:15 (NKJV)

“You received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.'”

Abba is not a formal title like “Father” or “Daddy.” It is the word of a toddler learning to speak — dada, the earliest sound a child makes for the one they depend on completely. When Jesus cried Abba, He was reducing Himself to total dependence: I cannot walk, I cannot wake up — I am nothing if the Father is not there.

That is the level of intimacy God invites you into — not distant religion, but childlike trust in the God of the ages.

🕊️ Why the Son Died and the Spirit Indwells All

The Son could die on the cross because He possessed a body. The Holy Spirit can be in all believers because He has no body — He is the manifestation that fits inside every born-again spirit simultaneously.

✋ John 20:27 — Thomas Touches and Believes

Thomas would not believe without seeing. Jesus met him where he was — not with rebuke alone, but with invitation.

John 20:27–28 (NKJV)

“Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Jesus did not correct Thomas for calling Him God. He accepted it. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed — and you are included in that blessing. Your identity in Him matters more than your position. Thomas needed to see; you walk by faith.

📜 Scripture Declares Jesus Is God

Romans 9:5 (NKJV)

“…of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.”

Titus 2:13 (NKJV)

“Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.”

1 John 5:20 (NKJV)

“We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”

Christ is over all — above Him there is no one. The great God and our Saviour. The true God and eternal life. These are not titles of a lesser being — they are declarations that Jesus is the God of the ages revealed in flesh.

🔗 Breaking Family Curses — Your Identity in Christ

When you stand as the only hope in a family line, your identity in Christ breaks what generations could not break. Position does not matter — identity does. You are not continuing the pattern; you are the one removing every curse the family carried.

What your father failed to do, you achieve in Christ. What relatives could not overcome, you overcome because the God of the ages lives in you — and His DNA is light.

💡 Your True Identity — Filled With Light

His very name and definition is light. His identity is light. His DNA is light. God is in you — His glory is all over you. You are filled with light. That is your true identity.

⚠️ Declare aloud: I am who He says I am. Undefeated. Victorious. I’m a winner every day. His word is inherent and sufficient. I receive it today.
